How to Download Instagram Reels

Instagram Reels are short videos shared by creators. If a Reel is public and you have permission to save it, you can use its link to request available media options through InstaDown.

Copy the public Reel link

Open the Reel in Instagram, use the share menu and choose the option to copy its link. Make sure you are using the link to the Reel itself.

Paste the link into InstaDown

Return to the InstaDown homepage and paste the full HTTPS Instagram URL into the input field. Select Download to submit the request.

Review the available result

If the connected media provider supports the Reel, the page will show the media links it returns. Availability and quality depend on the provider and source content.

Respect creators and permissions

Only save videos that you own or are authorized to use. Do not attempt to access private posts or redistribute someone else’s work without permission.
